Portsmouth City Council (Victoria Road North) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.83) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 13th May 2025 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
VICTORIA ROAD NORTH (NORTHBOUND)
From its junction with Elm Grove to outside No. 7 Victoria Road North.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate resurfacing works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 13th May 2025 to 15th May 2025 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, works will take place between Tuesday to Thursday from 19:00 to 06:00 on each night.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Elm Grove, Kings Road, Landport Terrace, Hampshire Terrace, St Michaels Road, King Richard I Road, Winston Churchill Avenue, Victoria Road North.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
