Portsmouth City Council (Havant Road) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.45) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 11th March 2025 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
BURRILL AVENUE
From its junction with Havant Road for 20 metres.
MULBERRY LANE
From its junction with Havant Road for 20 metres.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate Openreach works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 11th March 2025 to 13th March 2025 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, works will take place between 19:00 – 05:00 from Tuesday to Thursday.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Havant Road, East Cosham Road, Southdown Road, Burrill Avenue and Havant Road, Spur Road, Spur Road Roundabout, Northern Road, Medina Road Roundabout, Wayte Street, High Street, Magdala Road, Mulberry Lane and Mulberry Lane, Park Lane.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
