Portsmouth City Council (Rudmore Road) (Temporary Banned Right Turn) (No.24) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 27th January 2025 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY BANNED RIGHT TURN
RUDMORE ROAD
Into Ferry Port.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate works for new road layout and roundabout.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 27th January 2025 to 18th April 2025 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, works will take place between Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Rudmore Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
