Portsmouth City Council (Milton Road) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.52) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 23rd March 2025 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
MILTON ROAD
From outside No. 11 to No. 21.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate telecommunications works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 20:00 on 23rd March 2025 to 06:00 on 24th March 2025 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
No diversion – Dead end road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
