The Portsmouth City Council (Clegg Road Play Street) (Temporary Road Closure) (No.84) Order 2025
Portsmouth City Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit vehicular traffic from proceeding in the roads and the lengths of roads set out below.
The Order will be in operation from 18th May 2025 for the purpose of holding play street events on the highway.

Clegg Road Play Street
Between 13:00 – 16:00 on the second Sunday of every month from May to September:
Sunday 18th May 2025
Sunday 8th June 2025
Sunday 13th July 2025
Sunday 10th August 2025
Sunday 14th September 2025
ROADS TO BE CLOSED TO TRAFFIC
(Except access for residents and emergency)
1. Clegg Road
From its junction with Oliver Road to its junction with Highland Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE FOR TRAFFIC
Clegg Road is a one way road. Traffic will be diverted from Oliver Road (one way) – Winter Road – Highland Road.
