Portsmouth City Council (Pelham Road) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.37) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 17th February 2025 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
PELHAM ROAD
From its junction with The Retreat to its junction with Elm Grove.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate works to replace streetlight columns.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 17th February 2025 to 19th February 2025 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from The Retreat, Grove Road South, Elm Grove.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
