Portsmouth City Council (Andover Road) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.33) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 11th February 2025 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
ANDOVER ROAD
From its junction with Highland Road to rear of No.38 Highland Road.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate water works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 11th February 2025 to 14th February 2025 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, works will take place from Tuesday to Wednesday from 20:00 to 06:00.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Andover Road, Festing Grove, Bristol Road, Highland Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
