Portsmouth City Council (Gordon Road) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.18) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 10th January 2025 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
GORDON ROAD
From its junctions with Victoria Avenue to its junction with Pier Road.
CROXTON ROAD
From its junctions with Victoria Avenue to its junction with Bellevue Terrace.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate water works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 10th January 2025 to 31st July 2025 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Victoria Spur, Victoria Avenue, Bellevue Terrace, Pier Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
