Portsmouth City Council (Bransbury Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.33) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 23rd February 2026 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
BRANSBURY ROAD
From its junction with Minstead Road to outside No.17 Bransbury Road on both sides.
Opposite Nos.11-12 Bransbury Road.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate works to implement temporary site access for the construction of a new Leisure Centre between Ringwood Road and Minstead Road.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 23rd February 2026 to 20th August 2027 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
