THE PORTSMOUTH CITY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994
The Portsmouth City Council (Special Events) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Loading and Waiting) (No. 66) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Portsmouth City Council, the Highway Authority, intends to make the above Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Portsmouth City Council is satisfied that traffic on the said roads should be prohibited for the purpose of facilitating the holding of the following events and proposes to make an Order, the effect of which is that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, load or wait along the lengths of road for the times listed in the schedules of the full Order. Pedestrian and emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times. The duration times in this Notice will be the maximum duration for each event. Actual times may be less and will be communicated by on-street notices 14 days prior to each event taking place, as required.
The Order will be in operation from 6 June 2024 and will continue in force until 10th November 2024 at the dates and times listed in schedule (i) and (ii) of the full order for the purpose of holding of events on the highway.
