Portsmouth City Council (London Road) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.91) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 25th July 2024 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
HEWETT ROAD
At its junction with London Road.
B) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
LONDON ROAD
Outside No. 249 to No. 271 on both sides and outside No. 292 to No. 310.
C) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate water works.
D) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 25th July 2024 to 26th July 2024 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, works will take place between 20:00 to 06:00.
E) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Hewett Road, Randolph Road, Inhurst Road, London Road
and London Road, St Chads Avenue, Randolph Road, Hewett Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
