Portsmouth City Council (Northern Road) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.102) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 12th August 2024 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF BUS LANE RESTRICTIONS
NORTHERN ROAD (SOUTHBOUND)
From outside No. 98 Northern Road to its junction with Spur Road Roundabout.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate new electricity supply works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 12th August 2024 to 4th September 2024 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, works will take place between 08:00 to 17:00.
D) DIVERSION
All vehicles will be diverted into the bus lane.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
