Portsmouth City Council (St Georges Square) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Suspension of No Waiting) (No.116) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has given a direction under section 15(3) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 for the above Order to be continuing in force for a further two weeks.
The Order came into operation from 23rd August 2024 and the effect is as follows:
A) TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF NO WAITING (FOR SCHEDULED SERVICE BUSES ONLY – BLUE BADGE HOLDERS NOT PERMITTED)

From its junction with The Hard to Ordnance Row.
B) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING (EXCEPT SCHEDULED SERVICE BUSES – BLUE BADGE HOLDERS NOT PERMITTED)

From its junction with The Hard to Ordnance Row.
C) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate relocation of the bus interchange services due to works on pavement replacement at the bus interchange.
D) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 23rd August 2024 to 20th December 2024 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
This Order is now extended for a further period of two weeks from 21st December 2024 to 2nd January 2025, or completion of works, whichever is sooner.
