Portsmouth City Council (Church Road) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.171) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 27th November 2024 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
CHURCH ROAD
From its junction with Foster Road and its junction with Timpson Road.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate gas works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
For one day on 27th November 2024.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Fratton Road, Arundel Street, Holbrook Road, Lake Road, Clarendon Street, Foster Road, Church Road and Foster Road, Clarendon Street, Lake Road, Fratton Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
