Portsmouth City Council (Highland Road) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.104) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 13th August 2024 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
KIMBERLEY ROAD
At its junction with Highland Road.
B) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LEFT TURN
HIGHLAND ROAD (EASTBOUND)
Into Hellyer Road.
C) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate works to replace frame and cover on Highland Road.
D) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 13th August 2024 to 15th August 2024 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
E) DIVERSION
Road closure: Vehicles will be diverted from Collins Road, Ward Road, Highland Road and Hellyer Road, Oliver Road, Clegg Road, Highland Road, Owen Street, Collins Road, Kimberley Road.
Banned Left Turn: Highland Road, Eastney Roundabout, Highland Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
