Portsmouth City Council (Havant Road) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.165) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 4th December 2024 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
HAVANT ROAD
At its junction with Burrill Avenue.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate water works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 4th December 2024 to 5th December 2024 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, works will take place between Wednesday to Thursday 20:00 – 05:00.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Burrill Avenue, Southdown Road, East Cosham Road, Havant Road and Mulberry Lane, Park Lane, Havant Road, Spur Road and Spur Road Roundabout, Northern Road, London Road, London Road Off Slip To West To Portsdown Hill Road, London Road Northbound Link Road With Portsdown Hill Road, Portsdown Hill Road, Peter Ashley Lane, Bedhampton Hill, Havant Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
