Portsmouth City Council (Magdala Road) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.101) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 12th August 2024 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
MAGDALA ROAD
From its junction with Dorking Crescent to its junction with Park Lane.
B) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
MAGDALA ROAD
From its junction with Dorking Crescent (East junction with Magdala Road) to its junction with Dorking Crescent (West junction with Magdala Road) on both sides.
C) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate CityFibre works.
D) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 12th August 2024 to 23rd August 2024 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
E) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Park Lane, Havant Road, Spur Road, Spur Road Roundabout, Northern Road, Medina Road Roundabout, Wayte Street, High Street, Magdala Road and Magdala Road, High Street, Knowsley Road, Salisbury Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
