Portsmouth City Council (Albert Grove) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.121) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 9th September 2024 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
ALBERT GROVE
From its junction with Albert Road to its junction with Victoria Grove.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate lamp column replacement works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 9th September 2024 to 11th September 2024 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Albert Road – Victoria Grove.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
