Portsmouth City Council (Carols on the Camber) (Temporary Road Closure) (No.170) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic Regulation (Special Events) Act 1994.
The Order comes into operation from 18th December 2024 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
GUNWHARF ROAD
From its junction with White Hart Road for 82 metres north.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate Carols on the Camber event.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 16:00 to 20:30 on 18th December 2024 or completion of the event, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Dead End Road. No access to parking during the event. Any vehicles remaining within the closure will exit under marshal control only.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the event.
Cycles to dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the event.
