Portsmouth City Council (Anglesea Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Right Turn) (No.152) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.

The Order comes into operation from 14th November 2024 and the effect will be as follows:

A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURN

ANGLESEA ROAD (SOUTHBOUND)
At its junction with Park Road.

B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate bridge examination works.

C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 14th November 2024 to 15th November 2024 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, works will take place overnight between 22:00 to 05:00.

D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from St Michaels Road, King Richard I Road, Lord Montgomery Way, Hampshire Terrace, Cambridge Road, Cambridge Junction Roundabout, High Street, St Georges Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
