Portsmouth City Council (Pigeonhouse Lane) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.134) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 8th October 2024 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
PIGEONHOUSE LANE
From its junction with Portsdown Hill Road to Portsmouth City Council boundary.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate Openreach pole replacement and tree cutting works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 08:30 – 15:30 on 8th October 2024 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Portsdown Hill Road, Mill Lane, Potwell Lane, Pigeonhouse Lane.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
