Portsmouth City Council (Powerscourt Road) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.112) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 2nd September 2024 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
POWERSCOURT ROAD
From its junction with Pink Road to Farlington Road.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate gas main and services works outside No.141 to No.169.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 2nd September 2024 to 14th October 2024 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Pink Road, Queens Road, Paulsgrove Road, Powerscourt Road and vice versa. Access will be maintained within closure outside of works area for blue badge holders.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
