Portsmouth City Council (Ferry Road) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.88) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 18th July 2024 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
FERRY ROAD
From its junction with Fort Cumberland Road to the entrance to the Day Centre.
B) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
FORT CUMBERLAND ROAD
Opposite No. 7 to outside No. 2 Fort Cumberland Road.
C) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate Openreach overhead structure works.
D) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 09:30 – 15:30 on 18th July 2024 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
E) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Fort Cumberland Road, Ferry Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
