Pay rent and housing charges

You can use this page to pay Portsmouth Homes for housing rent, housing repair fees, court fees linked to housing, leasehold service charges and garage or parking space fees.

• former tenant arrears
• court costs or other debts
• garage or parking space
• leasehold service charges

In order to use this service, you’ll need to provide:

• your Account Reference number – this is a 10-digit number that will be on a statement or rent increase notice
• amount you want to pay
• your debit or credit card account number, long number on the front of the card, the expiry date and security number on the back of the card

Our automated payment line is open 24 hours a day.

There are a number of ways to pay your rent:

• by standing order or direct debit – giving your bank the council’s bank account details:

• cash or cheque at any of our housing offices or the Civic offices
• giro swipe card at the Post Office
