Fire safety support from neighbourhood services

If you notice any damage to fire safety equipment or Premises Information Boxes (PIBs), report it immediately as you would any other repair.

When reporting, state clearly if it’s about “fire safety equipment” or “Premises Information Box.”

• Our neighbourhood wardens inspect fire safety equipment in your blocks monthly.
• We report and fix any problems promptly.
• We also service fire safety equipment regularly.

Premises Information Boxes (PIBs)

• Buildings over seven stories tall have a PIB.
• They contain important information for firefighters.
• We check them monthly to ensure the information is current.

Our neighbourhood wardens regularly test fire alarms and related infrastructure, including call points and fire doors. After testing, we ensure all Automatic Opening Vents (AOVs), if any, are closed.
