About the project

We recently took fire assessment surveys on the external walls of your building to make sure they were safe. This survey showed some of the panels and insulation do not meet the latest Building Regulations.

From Autumn 2026, we need to carry out the following improvements to your block:

  • New entrance doors for your property
  • New triple glazed windows to help keep your home warmer and reduce noise from the trainline and motorway
  • Better insulation in the new wall and panel system to keep heat in and save energy
  • New balcony doors for each home
  • A fresh new look for your block, with updated panels on the outside
  • Redecoration of communal areas inside the block
  • Improved safety for the whole building

To help keep everyone safe while we plan this work, we have already fitted heat detectors in your homes. This follows advice from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service, and helps reduce any risk while you continue to live in the building.

We have to fully replace the external walls so they meet the new legal requirements.
