One of the housing priorities of Portsmouth City Council is to ensure the affordability and supply of good quality privately rented housing.
To help tenants into rented accommodation they can afford, we manage various schemes with landlords who have signed up.
The Private Rented Sector Access Team:
- assess and approve any potential tenants and arrange their viewings
- fill your property quickly
- ensure rent is paid when due
- give you a single point of contact to support your Access Scheme tenancies
- provide tenancy support for your tenants, and guidance to you
- ensure that all properties meet our required standards.
You can still have your property managed by your regular agent, and we can accept furnished or empty homes.
