Damp proof courses and membranes

Drainage
All foul and surface water drainage is inspected prior to backfill to check straightness, falls and bedding material.
Pre-plasterboard
Inspect floor joists of first floor, roof carcass, steelwork and bearing.
Drain & plumbing test
Water or air testing to check for performance and water tightness.
Completion
Notification is required when the works are completed to allow this inspection to be carried out. The builder should be in attendance to note any contraventions. A completion certificate will then be issued and should be kept in a safe place as it will be required to be produced during any future sale.
