Portsmouth Family Hubs are welcoming community spaces where families can access information, activities, support and services from pregnancy through to young adulthood.
Whether you're preparing for the arrival of a baby, supporting a growing child, navigating family life, or looking for advice and guidance, Family Hubs can help.
As part of Portsmouth's Best Start for Life approach, Family Hubs bring together services from health, education, early help, community and voluntary organisations, making it easier to get the right support at the right time.
Families can access support relating to pregnancy, infant feeding, child development, speech and language, parenting, emotional wellbeing, school readiness, SEND, family relationships and much more.
Family hubs in Portsmouth
Portsmouth has five Family Hubs located across the city:
- Buckland Family Hub
- Milton Park Family Hub
- Northern Parade Family Hub
- Somerstown Family Hub
- Paulsgrove Family Hub
Families can use any Family Hub, regardless of where they live in Portsmouth.
Each hub offers activities, stay and play sessions, opportunities to meet other families, and access to professionals and support services in one place.
Family Hub champions
Every Family Hub has a dedicated Family Hub Champion who can provide information, advice and guidance, help you understand what support is available locally, and connect you with activities and services that meet your family's needs.

Family Hubs offer a wide range of universal and targeted support for families, including:
