Applications close on Thursday 15 January 2026. National offer day for on-time applicants is Thursday 16 April 2026.
Parents of Year 2 pupils attending infant schools must apply for a junior school to guarantee a school place for September 2026.
You can still apply after Thursday 16 January 2026, but your school place will be allocated after national offer day Thursday16 April 2026.

- once you submit your application, you cannot make changes online – if you have exceptional circumstances and need to change your application, email admissions@portsmouthcc.gov.uk with your child’s name, date of birth and details of your changes
