Even when parking in a disabled parking bay near your home, you must display your Blue Badge. Some people may be worried about leaving their Blue Badge in the car for a long time. If so, they can request a permit specifically for their vehicle and address. This lets them park in their disabled parking bay without displaying their Blue Badge.
These permits don’t replace a Blue Badge for bays near shops or public buildings.

We’ll automatically send you a permit request forms when we’ve installed a disabled parking bay.

Prices
Each permit costs £18. Any changes to your permit (such as changing the vehicle registration) will cost £10.
Renewing your disabled parking bay permit
We’ll send you a renewal letter around 30 days before your permit is due to expire. The parking bay permit has the same expiry date as your blue badge.
