Resident participation centre

Residents and resident groups are able to use the Resident Participation Centre in Leigh Park.

  • Monday: 9am to 3pm
  • Tuesday: 9am to 3pm
  • Wednesday: 9am to 3pm
  • Thursday: 9am to 3pm
  • Friday: closed
  • Saturday and Sunday: closed

The centre has a small meeting room, kitchen, IT suite and garden area.

The centre can be used to hold meetings, training or leisure activities that benefit the communities in which we work.

Community rooms

We provide community rooms in some blocks for resident associations and individuals to use for meetings and social events. They are free of charge for residents who live in the block.

They can also be used by residents of the block and for private functions like children’s birthday parties (a small fee may be charged for this).

Community centres

We have five community centres:

  • Somerstown Hub
  • Charles Dickens Activity Centre
  • Cosham Community Centre
  • Paulsgrove Community Centre
  • The John Pounds Centre

These centres offer a variety of community spaces and resources which can be used by residents. Hire fees apply for the use of non-communal areas.

Hub Café

Our Hub Café is based at the Somerstown Hub and is a large, bright community space.

We have six adventure playgrounds:

  • Somerstown
  • Portsea
  • Landport

We also have four youth clubs:

  • Somerstown
  • Portsea
  • Landport/Buckland
  • Paulsgrove

These provide spaces for children, young people, and their families to come together. Community events are also held from these venues.

Our community garden is a space where residents can come together to learn, grow, and get advice from our community gardener.
