This policy explains how Portsmouth Homes works to safeguard and promote the wellbeing of children, young people and adults who may be at risk of harm, abuse or neglect.
We take a person-centred approach and work with residents, council services and partner organisations to identify concerns and provide appropriate support. Staff are trained to recognise safeguarding issues and take action where necessary.
Anyone with concerns about the welfare of a resident is encouraged to report them.
