We recognise the benefits pets can bring to wellbeing and quality of life, while making sure animals are cared for properly and homes, neighbours and shared areas are protected. We will consider pet requests fairly and reasonably, taking account of the needs of the resident, the pet, the property and those living nearby.
If you keep a pet, you are responsible for meeting its welfare needs, keeping it under control and making sure it does not cause nuisance, damage or safety concerns. Some pets require written permission before you bring them home, so please check before getting a new pet.
