Vaccinations at school

Some vaccines are given at school by the School Nursing Service. These include:

  • HPV vaccine for boys and girls aged 12–13
  • Flu vaccine for children in Years 1 to 6
  • MenACWY vaccine for Year 9 students
  • 3-in-1 booster (tetanus, diphtheria and polio) for Years 9 and 10

You’ll get a letter from the school nursing team when it’s time for your child’s vaccine.

If you haven’t received a letter or think your child missed a vaccine, contact your child’s school or GP surgery.
