Pay over 12 months
Normally, you’ll pay your annual Council Tax bill in ten monthly instalments April to January. You can opt to pay over 12 months, from April to March, instead.
Please note that if you contact us to change your payments mid-year, we’ll give you the maximum number of instalments remaining in the current financial year up to March.
To do this you can register for or sign into your council tax account online and set up a direct debit.
If you don’t have an online account or you aren’t able to set up a direct debit, please fill in our online form.
