What we do
We focus on preventing and stopping ASB before it gets worse:
- our housing officers, estate wardens, and community wardens provide a strong presence in the community
- estate wardens and community wardens patrol regularly, including out of hours and weekends.
- we work with Portsmouth Assessment Service to solve problems through mediation and restorative purposes
- we educate children and young people on respecting their community
- we support people with additional needs in managing challenging behaviours
- we clean up graffiti and vandalism quickly
- our CCTV team surveys, installs, and monitors cameras to help prevent ASB and environmental crime. We also use re-deployable cameras in problem areas
