Parents and baby groups

Parent and Baby groups provide parents with a great opportunity to meet other parents, get advice from professionals and generally have fun with your baby.

Some groups are focused on particular themes such as:

• Breastfeeding
• Baby massage
• Learning through music

Follow the Family Information Service on social media for regular updates on what is running in the city, speak to your Health Visitor or Community Health Nurse or contact your local Family Hub.

The council offers a range of help for parents, including one-to-one advice sessions, workshops and seminars, which you can book directly by contacting your local family hub.

Parenting advice

There is a parenting surgery facility offering parents opportunities to raise ongoing issues and discuss options regarding additional parenting support.
