Our autism strategic action plan covers five key priorities:
- Improving understanding of the lives and needs of autistic and neurodivergent people
- Improving health and wellbeing
- Better care and support
- Appropriate housing options
- Accessing education and securing employment
These priorities, aims and outcomes in this action plan were co – produced with autistic people and their loved ones in Portsmouth. The action plan sets out the positive work that has already taken place, but also sets out our ambitions to make Portsmouth a city where everyone feels included, supported and valued. The work based on this action plan will be co-produced and be in partnership with key departments, agencies and sectors across the city.
