More businesses are backing Portsmouth City Council’s annual Christmas Light Switch On events which will run from 20 – 22 November this year in Southsea, Cosham, and Commercial Road. HSDC are confirmed for the third year running as the lead sponsor of Portsmouth’s Christmas events. Nation Radio are also confirmed alongside Motorpoint, the Kings Theatre and Theatre Royal.
The countdown to Christmas begins with three sparkling events of entertainment across Portsmouth’s high streets, featuring Christmas Light Switch On Parties, Cosham Carols, the opening of the Portsmouth Christmas Market and Portsmouth on Ice.
Hosted by Mark Collins from Nation Radio, the Switch On Parties promise live music, dazzling lights, and panto stars including Shaun Williamson (Barry from EastEnders), TV legend Rusty Lee and Portsmouth FC manager John Mousinho. Local acts, choirs, and theatre groups will also take the stage, alongside Father Christmas.
