Many dogs we take in need extensive rehabilitation and vet care. We need your help to keep our long-term residents warm and comfortable.
Ways you can help:
- donate – 100% of your donation goes towards caring for the dogs. You can make a single donation online or email dogs@portsmouthcc.gov.uk to set up a regular payment.
- shop our Amazon wishlist – any donation is hugely appreciated. You can also buy the same products locally and drop them off at the kennels – feel free to say hello to the dogs if you want!
- volunteer – we need help with cleaning, feeding, driving dogs, fostering and fundraising. Email dog.kennels@portsmouthcc.gov.uk with who you are, what you can help with, and your weekly availability.
- adopt a dog – if a stray dog isn’t claimed within seven days, we prepare them for rehoming. Below are the rescue centres we work with to rehome our stray dogs.
