Normally, you’ll pay your annual Council Tax bill in ten monthly instalments April to January. Payment is due on the 1st of each month, unless you choose to pay by Direct Debit which offers alternative payment dates.
You can opt to pay over 12 months, from April to March, instead. To do this you can register for or sign into your Council Tax account online and set up a direct debit.
If you ask to change to 12-monthly payments mid-year, we will give you the maximum number of instalments remaining for that financial year.
