Portsmouth Music Hub

Musical opportunities, support, training and music lessons in Portsmouth are coordinated through Portsmouth Music Hub, led by Portsmouth City Council’s music service.

The award winning Portsmouth Music Hub is a dynamic network of organisations committed to building a secure foundation for music and music education in Portsmouth.

The hub’s goals include providing high quality music education and support for young people, and inspiring all young people to sing and play a musical instrument – follow the link to read the music hub’s goals in full.

Instruments

Instruments are available to hire from the music hub through Portsmouth schools. Instruments can be hired for private tuition and costs between £45 – £60 per year to hire, depending on the teaching arrangements.

Music groups, lessons and events
