New national restrictions are in place. Make sure you know what to do to Protect Portsmouth.
Links to help and information about schools for parents, teaching and support staff, are below.
In adverse weather conditions we will post a list of affected schools on our news pages.
We no longer offer a school uniform grant. Some schools might offer a grant – please speak to the school directly to find out.
The Portsmouth School Accessibility Strategy has now been approved.
The full strategy document can be found below.
If you have a concern about any aspect of your child’s education, first speak to the teacher. It is quite likely that you will be able to sort problems out this way. If not, you may wish to raise the matter with the headteacher. If this does not resolve the issue, you can take it to the school governors and then finally the Department for Education. A copy of the complaint procedure is available from your school on request.
