School closures

Schools may close in emergencies, such as severe weather or extreme heat.

For the latest information, check your child’s school website or contact the school:

• find a school near you
• find a special school in Portsmouth

We'll publish any known school closures on this page as soon as possible.

You can also check school term dates and holidays, and school inset days when schools are closed for teacher training.
