Portsmouth City Council (Waterworks Road) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.248) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 29th August 2023 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITON OF LOADING AND WAITING
WATERWORKS ROAD
At its junction with Havant Road.
B) TEMPORARY PROHIBITON OF LOADING AND WAITING
HAVANT ROAD
Outside Nos. 348 to 436.
C) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate SGN works.
D) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 29th August 2023 to 14th December 2023 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
E) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Havant Road – Eastern Road – Fitzherbert Road – Waterworks Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works. Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
