Portsmouth City Council (Washington Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Loading and Waiting) (No.221) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 31st July 2023 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, LOADING AND WAITING
WASHINGTON ROAD
From its junction with Hanway Road to Kingston Road.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate CityFibre works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 31st July 2023 to 2nd August 2023 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Kingston Road – Stirling Street – Washington Road – Hanway Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
