Portsmouth City Council (Rectory Avenue) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting and Loading) (No.271) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 16th October 2023 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING
RECTORY AVENUE
From its junction with Havant Road to outside No. 2.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate SGN works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 16th October 2023 to 13th November 2023 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Havant Road – Gillman Road – Woodfield Avenue and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works. Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion.
