Portsmouth City Council (Newbolt Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Loading and Waiting) (No.167) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 8th June 2023 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, LOADING AND WAITING
NEWBOLT ROAD
From its junction with Masefield Avenue to its junction with Truro Road.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate Southern Water works to repair frame and cover outside No. 122 Newbolt Road.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 09:00 – 17:00 on 8th June 2023 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Wordsworth Avenue – Coleridge Road – Bridges Avenue – Newbolt Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
