Portsmouth City Council (Havant Street) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting and Loading) (No.274) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 16th October 2023 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING
HAVANT STREET
From its junction with Clock Street to its junction with Old Star Place.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate external works on Europa House.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 16th October 2023 to 1st February 2024 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Works will be carried out in sections. Each works will be notified by the placement of signs and letters to affected residents and businesses.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Old Star Place, Wickham Street, Clock Street and Havant Street, College Street, The Hard, Queen Street, Wickham Street, Old Star Place.
Pedestrians and cycles will be diverted as above.
